Use LinkedIn to get a job and to move ahead in life


These are hard times and getting a job is indeed a tough task. Some corporate networking site like LinkedIn – is real nice tool to secure at least some interview calls. As per the latest data LinkedIn's is used by as many as 75 of the Fortune 100 companies to recruit ideal candidates. How to maximize your chances at LinkedIn:
Update your profile regularly:

Give details like education, work ex and major achievement so far, says Judy Dench, HR, Fred Loya Insurance. "It would be nice if you write your job descriptions in details as it will make a recruiter job easy and you would be picked by a prospective employer," she adds. She further said that LinkedIn is used by Fred Loya Insurance from time to time.

Add up recommendations
If you can add up some word of recommendation then it would be just perfect. And if your former boss or even current can write a line or two about you then for sure you will be picked by a potential recruiter. “My boss from Fred Loya Insurance helped me immensely in landing a job,” says Sheena who sued to work with Fred Loya Insurance awhile ago.
