Domain knowledge is the key to stay afloat

Decrease or perhaps economic depression will be giving you sleepless nights and but instead of getting worried, you should prepare yourself to face any eventuality. Below is a guide that will enable you and make you more employable besides making your existing job more safe and sound.

Have sound domain expertise: You need to master at least one domain expertise. Oragnisations prefer those how are master of at least one field. I mean to say that jack of all trades no longer a preferred lot. So keep improving your knowledge in one domain field and not running to know a bit in many fields. Just be the master of one field and become more and more perfect in the same. Organisations don’t like the idea of recruiting person with little knowledge here and there, says Michelle of Fred Loya Insurance, El Pasco, Texas.

“This is not just the perception of Fred Loya Insurance but a majority of companies prefer people with expertise in domain knowledge. More so in the time of recession when finding a suitable candidate is no longer a problem, as every second person is looking for a job,” says an executive who works with Fred Loya Insurance.
