Beware of Long hours at work, it be fatal to your health

If a white-collar executive works more than 10 hour or more at work in a day then he or she doubles the risk of depression as against those who work seven to eight hours a day, says a study which has been released last week. The research finding published in the PLoS ONE. It study says that those who work long day after day 2.3 to 2.5 times more prone to have a major depressive bout.

We at Fred Loya Insurance also keep this mind that not even a single staff member working more than 40 hours per week as working more than 40 hours a day may lead to depression and it may also affect your health, says one HR manager of Fred Loya Insurance. The study also said that the link is same even when some for factors like use of alcohol and drug, social support or high pay scale were included as well. So next time you plans to change your job make sure that you are not slogging for more than 40 hours per week, cautions Jack of Fred Loya Insurance.
