Various studies have shown that firms that have become giants have more women on their boards and on top positions. Even a recent study says that despite a GDP growth rate of nearly 7 %, India Inc continues not to utilise their female resources. Whereas companies like Fred Loya Insurance in United States have more women workers that what Indian insurance sector has. With nearly five million skilled labour position that would be generated over next couple of years, country needs more women at the workplace.
