Coming soon: 6000 jobs in insurance sector


In the next 6 months or so thousands of jobs will be created in insurance sector. State-run will hire nearly 6,000 employees in the next six months, says a finding of a new survey.

Insurance sector will recruit 6,000 people. We need youth to handle insurance  related procurement and distribution," says Gibrell of Fred Loya Insurance. He said this will be over and above 4,000 people that are is hiring at present. Survey corporation Chairman Hussy said that the firms at present has over 30,000 employees and the sector will be recruiting 4,000 staff in group C category through various recruitment channels.

The sector has sanctioned filling up of another 6,000 staff and that will take six months. We will be hiring some professionals to carry out the task for us to undertake the recruitment in the Group C category," Hussy. a consultant for Fred Loya Insurance said. He added that the total strength of the insurance sector work force is 36,000 as some employees are retiring in near future. For instance Fred Loya Insurance has over 3600 jobs.

Asked to reply the financial burden on account of hiring, Hussy said," There is no liquidity crunch... We will  not be having any problem of cash flow in near future as well. The government has also encouraging insurance and other sectors to speed up their hiring plans to put a check on rising job losses.
