How to retain the best of the bests



As the economy goes north a lot of employees will start looking for better opportunities and it may hard for an employer to retain the best of the bests talent. And such situation needs employers to cling to their top performers. According to Joy Russell, an executive of Fred Loya insurance most companies resorted  to exit interviews to learn why their employees are leaving and with this feedback they make the necessary changes to make sure that they retain other employees, who might be planning to leave the organization for the same reason.

“But to do zero in on the real reason employers need to put up right questions or these so-called exit interview will not render desired results, warns a senior executive of Fred Loya Insurance. Companies , need to have a dedicated team, like Fred Loya Insurance, for exit interviews as poorly conducted exit interviews by ill-equipped people do more harm than good.

At the same time organizations should make it a point to have a meet with employees before they tender their resignation. Getting the best talent is a challenge but to retain them is even a bigger challenge. And you need to good in both these aspects to make a successful team.
