According to a UN report, there is a huge fear of joblessness amongst the youth today. The fear is high in the age group of 15 – 30 years who are fresh from academics or have a few years of work experience. These youth are highly doubtful of their academic qualifications which they have acquired over the years. This doubt or fear can cause high degree of unrest in the youth of today.
An executive from Fred Loya Insurance also shares his discomfort over the existing education system which lays more stress of degrees and diplomas rather than the professional education that in true sense helps a person in his / her career. This fresh guy at Fred Loya Insurance tells us that not all companies hire fresh graduates.
Contrary to the fact that the least experienced is hired in the last and chucked at the first, Fred Loya Insurance has huge confidence in the power of today’s youth. Fred Loya Insurance also believes that however there is a need to introduce more job oriented courses, but at the same time the existing education system is also good enough to generate educated youth who can be employed and taught the ways of work.
